Omission to prepare list or serve notice.

in writing shall be served on the owner of the

tenement or his agent, or on the occupier if the

owner or his agent cannot readily be found.

(2) Such notice may be in Form No.1 in the

Schedule to this Proclamation.

(3) The provisions of this section shall not

apply to valuations of tenements in Chinese

villages.

14. Any notice or other document may be served

by delivering the same to the owner of the

tenement or his agent or by leaving the same for

such owner or agent with some person at or by

sending the same by post to his last know place

of abode or business, or, if such owner or his

agent cannot readily be found, then by leaving

such notice or other document or a copy thereof

on the tenement to which the same relates or

by sending it to such tenement through the post.

15. (1) The omission to cause any list of

valuations to be prepared or to be open to

inspection or to serve any notice of valuation

shall not invalidate any valuation or relieve

any person from the payment of rates.

(2) No misnomer or inaccurate description of any

person, place or tenement, in any document

required for the purposes of this Proclamation,

nor any mistake, informality or omission committed

in any proceeding had hereunder, shall invalidate

or prejudice such document or proceeding or in

anywise affect the execution of this Proclamation:

Provided that such person, place or tenement is

designated in such document or proceeding to

common intent and understanding, and that such

mistake, informality or omission is not of such

a nature as to prevent the requirements of this
